English & Western Schooling Shows
Western halter/flat classes start at 9am & English halter/flat classes will not start before 11:00am.
Snack shack open for breakfast & lunch.
Classes: W/T Equitation, W/T Pleasure W/T/L-C Equitation, W/T/L-C Pleasure, Showmanship and Halter, Bare Back, Hunter Hack, Trail. The trail and bare back classes are open to both English and Western riders, they will be offered at the end of western flat classes & prior to English flat classes.
Divisions: 17 & under & 18 and over divisions/classes run simultaneously. (If there are three or more rider conflicts due to sharing of horses classes may be divided.)
1) Lead line/Special Needs, for those who are beginners or are physically or mentally challenged who require a little assistance by being led or coached from the rail or can ride by self but needs to compete in a walk or quiet type environment, open to any age.
2) Novice, not to have won three 1st place ribbons in this class at a sanctioned or recognized show.
3) Open, class is open to all ages and abilities.
4) We reserve the right to combine or divide classes.
Ribbons to 6th. Daily High Point & Reserve High Point per show 2-Eng, 2-West per day awarded one of each to the Junior division 17 & under & to the Senior division 18 & over. Only the flat classes will apply to the high point: halter showmanship, trail, bareback and hunter hack are exempt from the point totals. These are individual shows & not a series.
If weather conditions are hot, a relaxed dress code will be accepted: short sleeve western shirt or remove the jacket in English is acceptable. Appropriate boots with a heel required in all classes, Helmets encouraged.
Club member's points earned count towards end of season HP awards too. Member's Season HP Awards will be presented in Oct or Nov at a special award dinner held in their honor.
Members: $7 day of & $5 early (received the Saturday 1 week prior to the event) registration/per class, Non-members: $9day of/$7early reg./per class, $5.00 registration fee for all horses and rider combinations.

Play Days
Start 900am. Open to all riding styles and levels, with 6 events:

CCCHA Combo: a skilled event over a simple course requiring your horse to walk, trot & run through or over obstacles.
Four age groups:
1) Leadline any age/Special Needs any age/12&under,
2) 13-17yrs,
3) 18-29 yrs and
4) 30 & over.
We reserve the right to combine or separate classes depending on size of the classes.
Ribbons 1-6th,
Daily High Point per age division.
Not Region 5 sanctioned.
Classes $5 member & $7 non-member $5 registration fee per horse/rider pair. Club member's points earned count towards end of season high point awards too. Member's Season High Point Awards to be presented in October or November at special award dinner held in their honor.
Play Days are not a series.
1) Trotting Race: Riders trot their horses around four poles. If the horse breaks into a canter, the rider has to turn their horse in a circle before continuing at a trot.
2) Poles 1: A set of six poles will be spaced out across the ring, you race up weaving in between, trying to not knock any over an then race back to finish.
3) Cloverleaf Race: Contestant may go to either right or left barrel first, but must make one left turn and two right turns, or one right turn and two left turns.
4) C & C Combo: Contestant starts at a walk and maneuvers through poles, picks up the trot around another pole, into a gallop over a jump and races home.
5) Barrel Back Through: Race up 90’ then back your horse through two barrels spaced 8’ apart and then race home.
6) Tomahawk Race: A barrel, open end up is centered in the lane 30 feet from star/finish line with a second barrel; open end down is on the turn line. A "tomahawk" (rubber hose or flat rubber cut in the shape of a tomahawk) is placed on top of barrel on the turn line, extending six inches from edge of barrel. Contestant races to second barrel, picks up tomahawk and races to first barrel, depositing tomahawk into barrel.

Play Day with BBQ, Raffle, Piñata, Music & fun
Saturday, Sept. 22nd, 2007 is Past President's Playday!We have fun events scheduled for all day and our BBQ begins at 7 p.m. with the Bar opening at 5 p.m.
$8 for adults, $5 for kids under 12.
The Buckskinners will be here again this year. We also have a live band.
Come out early and spend the day, the snack shack will be open until 1 p.m.
Enjoy our family oriented Play Day & BBQ. Great food, friends, fun & games; Piñata 4 kids, Raffle, Music, Dancing, w/Ribbons 1st-6th, daily HP Prizes per age division open to all along w/ Members Only Memorial Cloverleaf & Poles High Point Buckles awarded. ~6 events: Poles 1, Cloverleaf Barrels, Trotting race, Barrel Back Through, Tomahawk, CCCHA Combo: a skilled event over a simple course requiring your horse to walk, trot & run through or over obstacles. Costume Horseshow / Play Day
Come enjoy our family atmosphere. Please save this date for our Combination Costume Horse Show - Play Day. We start our day with an open costume class; either the rider, the horse or the pair must wear a costume. Followed by our English/Western combined horse show in the morning with walk-jog equ/pleasure, walk-trot-canter equ/pleasure classes. In the afternoon there will be a Play Day with five games, come and test your riding abilities & enjoy the fun! Ribbons 1-6th, Daily High Point. Rider classifications: 4 age groups: 1) Leadline/Special Needs/12&under, 2) 13-17yrs, 3) 18-29yrs and 4) 30&over, but we reserve the right to combine or separate classes due to amount of riders, we will TRY to keep class sizes to ~10 or under. Judge: Loralie Casapit or her designee. Classes $5 member & $7 non-member $5 registration fee per horse/rider pair.
