DUMMY STEER ROPING RULES

Each kid starts out with 5 loops,

have them start about a foot off the hip

for 7&U and 2 foot for 8-13,

They need to have 3 legal head catches,

(around the horns, half head, and around

the neck).

All the kids that catch 3 clean, have a

rope off, of 3 more loops, the kids that

catch 3 the second time have to catch 3

more a foot further back, and so on.

If no one catches 3 then you give the

award to the person who caught

the most.
